What e-Journals are available and how do I use them? The NHS nationally provides access to 3500+ full text electronic journals The Library also subscribes to additional ejournal collections, including the Wiley online Medical and Nursing Collection, Clinical Key and Mark Allen Online. You can search for these using the Journals A-Z List
Do I need usernames and passwords? Yes, most of the time you will need an OpenAthens username and password. You can register here. If you register from an NHS net computer your account will be ready to use straight away, otherwise there may be a delay, while your account is checked.
Can I access them from my office / home? Yes, your OpenAthens password will work from any internet connection.
But I can't find the one I want...? Unfortunately not everything is available in full text. Most of the time we can quickly obtain a copy of an article for you from another library. Please contact us if you need help accessing e-Journals.
